The story behind Alex&Nia

What started as a small pop-up filled with fashion and accessories has grown into something much bigger — but alex&nia hasalways been about the same thing: helping women feel good in what they wear.

Behind the brand are husband-and-wife team Janine and Nick, who have built alex&nia together on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

For Janine, fashion has always been instinctive. She loves finding those pieces that instantly make an outfit feel right — the perfect jacket, an incredible pair of pants, or that top you know you’ll reach for again and again.

That philosophy shapes alex&nia today: effortless, wearable fashion with a distinctly Australian coastal edge. Pieces that feel current without trying too hard. Clothes you can actually live in — and feel amazing wearing.

As alex&nia has grown, so has its community. What began locally at Warriewood Square now reaches women across Australia through the online store and social media.

Behind the scenes, Janine and Nick still work side by side — balancing buying, the boutique, online, family life and everything that comes with running a fashion business together.
